Privacy notice
How we handle browsing data and enquiries sent to UNICOMBUSTION.
Controller and contact
The data controller is UNICOMBUSTION, who manages the UNICOMBUSTION project. For personal data enquiries, use the contact form and select “Privacy and data rights”. A company name is not required. This notice covers unicombustion.com and www.unicombustion.com.
Data processed
When you browse, the systems record technical data such as IP address, date and time, requested URL, request outcome, browser and referring page when provided. The form collects your name, email address, request type and message; company, country and system details are optional. Do not include passwords, special category data such as health information, or industrial confidential information unnecessary for your enquiry.
Purposes and legal bases
Form data is used to respond to consultancy, technical support and information enquiries. Where an enquiry concerns steps requested by the individual before entering into a contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies. For company representatives, the basis is the legitimate interest in managing professional communications, Article 6(1)(f). Technical data and anti-spam controls support website operation and security on the basis of that legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f). Handling data rights requests relies on GDPR obligations, Article 6(1)(c). Acknowledging this notice is not consent to advertising. This form is not used for newsletters or promotional messages.
Providing data
Browsing requires technical data necessary for the connection. Submitting the form is optional, but your name, email, request type and message are necessary to handle the enquiry. Without these fields it cannot be forwarded. Optional fields may be left blank.
Processing, recipients and email
The website runs on a server managed directly for UNICOMBUSTION. Enquiries are sent to the management mailbox through Apple iCloud Mail; the website does not create a request archive in the WordPress database. The controller, authorised persons and professionals engaged where necessary for your request may access the data. Technical providers may process data as necessary for their services. Data is neither sold nor publicly disclosed. The website uses HTTPS, email submission uses TLS and administration requires authentication.
International transfers
iCloud Mail may involve processing and transfers outside the European Economic Area. Apple states in its privacy policy that it uses Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers of data collected in the EEA; that policy also explains how to request a copy. This notice does not state that all data remains in the European Union.
Retention
Communications are kept for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry and any follow-up, then deleted unless retention is necessary for legal obligations or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. A subsequent engagement may require a separate notice. Web logs rotate daily and are normally kept for approximately 15 days; inactivity or documented security needs may extend this period. Recovery copies have restricted access and are kept as necessary to restore the service. The anti-spam counter uses an identifier derived from the IP address and expires after 10 minutes; it does not store the message content.
Cookies and external content
The website does not use analytics, advertising cookies or profiling. Fonts and images are hosted on the website. WordPress uses technical cookies for administration login and preferences; browsing and submitting the form do not require an account. Login cookie expiry depends on the session and the remember-me option. External links lead to services with their own privacy notices.
Rights and complaints
Where provided by the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Use the privacy contact form. Only information necessary to verify identity and handle the request may be requested. You may complain to the Italian data protection authority or another competent supervisory authority. The website does not profile users or make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Updates
Last updated: 7 October 2026. This notice will be updated when the controller, services or processing described here change.
